A STORY OF HOPE

What growing together can become

An adopted tree starts as a small thing — a place to visit, a name on a page. But over a lifetime, it can grow into something much larger: a quiet companion through every season of a child's life, including the hardest ones.

"Where the Magic Forest Grows" is a two-minute illustrated story showing one possibility — a young girl who, after her grandmother passes away, finds her again in the trees.

A note for parents: The story uses the words "death" and "passed away" and gently describes grief. You may want to watch on your own first to decide if it's the right moment to share with your child.

Tree updates, ongoing

"Every visit our son and daughter run to see how much taller the tree has gotten. Every time, the tree is a little taller. And so are they."

— A Hope Eternal Gardens family

Note: This isn't a burial plot — it's a simple, joyful dedication for your family to visit and enjoy.

Common questions

  • Two to four feet tall — about the size of your child. It'll be taller than them within a few years.

  • A method of dense native planting that grows a real forest 10x faster than conventional methods. Ours was planted in February 2024.

  • Anytime — Hope Eternal Gardens is open by appointment. Bring the GPS from your tree's page and your phone walks you right to it.

  • Your arboretum page remains as a permanent record — its years, your dedication, the field notes, the photos. Preserved as part of the gardens' history.
